Introduction to FOSS

Two day evening workshop was conducted by FFSC on “Introduction to FOSS”. It was conducted at L9 lab. Workshop was attended by 38 students on March 6, 2018 and 30 students on March 7, 2018. Participants included students from 1st and 2nd year Computer Science & Engineering branch.

On day 1, the content included talk and hands on session on introductory FOSS concepts. Debian GNU/Linux was used for that purpose.

FOSS Workshop

“Introduction to GNU/Linux” was provided with a hands-on session on Bash shell. Various commands with examples were discussed during the session.
